Jul 5, 2010, Real Gulf Oil Spill Footage

This is a video of the real Gulf Oil Spill. Its airiel footage of our beautiful Gulf. Yes it's more than disturbing but I thought I owed it to the creatures to watch the video and share it!

To all of you I'm sorry it will upset you, My prayer is for a miracle, but I've asked for the animals to go quickly and not to suffer for man's mistakes and greed.

Please share it and post it everywhere. People have to know the seriousness of this!

And have you noticed that as of last Monday the Media no longer refer to it as the Gulf Oil Spill. A ruling came from the White House (now who lives there?) that said "Media personnel were to refer to the Gulf Oil Spill as the Gulf Oil Disaster or the BP Oil Disaster. Just who do they think they are influencing???

May 29, 2010, Microbes That Gobble Oil Spills

The link at the bottom of this post will take you to a very interesting video about Microbes that eat oil spills. Check it out and see if you don't come to the same conclusion that I did which is why isn't this being used on the Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig spill?

May 24, 2010, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and the Florida Keys

This is from May 17,2010 broadcast on NBC about the Oil Spill that could impact Florida and the Florida Keys. Just click on the link below and come to your own conclusion.

May 21, 2010, Fish Closures Because of Deepwater Horizon Rig Oil Spill

The Deepwater Horizon Rig Oil Spill has not reached the Florida Keys as of yet and may go around us. But there are areas in the Gulf affected by the oil. There have been areas closed to fishing both for commercial interests and recreational fishermen. The link below gives you the chart and Lat. Lon's for these areas. You can go there daily and get an update as the NMFS is changing the closure area almost daily.

On a lighter note, the fishing in the Florida Keys hasn't been this good since the 90's. There were 5 Blue Marlin hookups that I know of personally today. The Dolphin are everywhere and so are the Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and Blue Marlin. Something about this really cold winter has pushed all these fish here and the fishing is hot. My muscles are aching from reeling in fish all day.

May 17, 2010, Deepwater Horizon Oil Platform Disaster

What on earth is wrong with this picture. The Deepwater Horizon Rig was a state of the art oil rig. It had been successful at drilling the deepest oil well yet. They were patting themselves on the back all the while ignoring faulty equipment. This isn't over, have you seen the pictures of all that toxic oil floating on the vast live piece of ocean called the Gulf of Mexico? Does anyone realize how much marine life and wetland habitat will be wiped out by this arrogant selfish company BP and our Government policies allowing them to drill OUR oil???

The thing that really pisses me off with all this is that our Government allows this foreign company to drill our oil and sell it on the International Market all the while telling us we need to build wind mills and solar panels and cut back on our consumption of energy. And this is one of the largest oil finds ever! Why are we letting BP ship our oil out to the open market all the while we are paying for expensive Arab oil when we can certainly put a dent in the oil supply problem for this country from the oil that's in the Gulf of Mexico, USA? Something has to change! I can't be the only one that's really mad over this realization. Something has to be done to change these policies and keep our oil here, not let the almighty dollar rule.
